Saw Melvin with Gloria and Jackie 2 nights ago and they greatly exceeded my expectations. This week they headlined The Warfield and I got to see them at a sold out 330 person club in Burlington. They played two sets, lots of jams, most songs 10+ minutes each. Melvin is a teddy bear and so talented. Between sets they stayed on stage so we could meet and greet. Gloria and Jackie sounded exactly the same as Jerry days, their voices are still strong. I forget the guitar player's name, but he was excellent. His guitar was made by an apprentice of Doug Irwin and even had a tiger on it. If you have a chance see them!
